About 4 weeks ago, we have launched the new GCU Broker tool and we would like to share with you the first take-aways:

1. You will have received a mail with a link to reset your password. This link is only valid for 30 days (until Feb. 21st) after which you will have to request a new password via the login page. In case you
have not yet logged in, please do so quickly. Login name is your email address as in the old GCU database.
2. During the migration process we encountered some unexpected technical issues. As a result, some contact details or user information might not be migrated completely. In the (unlikely) case mandatory
information (indicated with a ‘-m’) would be missing, the company might become inactive. We have corrected most of it manually by now, but please double-check if your company information is complete and
correct.
3. In the GCU Broker, there is a separate section to specify the invoicing credentials for the annual invoice of the GCU membership fees. The migrated information should also be double-checked and corrected
before the end of February to ensure we issue the correct invoice for 2019.
4. Keepers wanting to be notified by email when keepership of wagons changes, need to manually add the notification email address in the GCU Broker (menu item Signatory -> Communication -> Type
“Notification Change Keepership”).
5. When you update your wagons (add or delete), the changes will only become effective the following day. You can check if your update is successful by observing the change in the ‘valid to’ date field.
6. During the migration, the calculation tool for the residual lifetime value had to be taken offline due to technical reasons. It is planned to be back online by mid-2019. In the meanwhile, you can download
and use the excel version of the calculation tool on the website as from next week.
